About Fulmers

The Fulmer Snaffle with its external loose rings is often confused with the Full Cheek Snaffle which has none. Very popular in the 1960’s the Fulmer fell out of fashion but has increased in popularity in recent years.  As a combination bit, it allows for full cheeks above and below the bit, eggbutt sides and also the movement of loose rings.
