Elevators are a  popular item of lorinery in Western Riding and where they are used with a looser rein contact than in English riding.

Their distinctive long cheeks (shanks) extending generously in equal length both below and above the bit’s mouthpiece. It is It is available in a selection of mouthpieces to accommodate a range of different mouth types and requirements.

HOW ARE YOUR ELEVATOR BITS MEASURED?

The diagram on the right shows you how we measure our bits. For Elevators we need the mouth width. The bit width is especially important to get right. Don't forget we can do mouth piece sizes to the nearest 1/4" so you can be sure to get the right size.
